We'll pick you up at your hotel in Foz do Iguaçu at 3 am to cross the border into Paraguay.
During the trip between Foz and Asunción, we'll enjoy views of the Paraguayan plains until we reach the capital of the country. Once there, we'll go on a tour of its most representative places. Did you know that Asunción is one of the least expensive capitals in the world? We'll discover this and many other curiosities during the tour.
In this private visit, we'll have the chance to admire the mixture of architectural styles that presents the most populated city of Paraguay, perfectly combining modern constructions with colonial buildings. The center of Asunción is proof of this, which we'll see in monuments such as Casa de la Independencia, the Metropolitan Cathedral and Palacio de los López.
At noon we'll pause at Hotel Guaraní to get lunch in the area. Then, we'll continue to the train station, the location of the oldest steam locomotive in South America. We'll then continue our tour in front of the National Pantheon of Heroes, a must-see stop for anyone visiting Asunción.
Next, we'll walking along Avenida Mariscal López, where we'll check out the popular handicraft market of La Recova. You won't be able to resist buying some souvenirs!
After the visit, we'll return to Foz and drop you off at your hotel. Arrival is scheduled for 8 pm.
