Travel through the Pudding Creek estuary aboard the Pudding Creek Express train - the perfect way to discover Fort Bragg's natural beauty and environment!

Pudding Creek Express Train

If you're in Fort Bragg, don't miss out on this extra fun train ride on the Pudding Creek Express. We'll meet at the Skunk Train & Rail Bikes railroad to kick off our route towards the Pudding Creek estuary. All aboard!

As we chug along, we'll cover 16 kilometers (9.9 miles) of terrain, unveiling the spectacular Pudding Creek. We'll be treated to privileged views of iconic sequoia trees surrounding Fort Bragg and the Glen Blair Junction. Here, we'll make a short pit stop for about 30 minutes so you can hop down from the train and take a closer look around.

From the train tracks, we'll continue admiring the expansive natural beauty of the estuary, which is also home to various bird species like blue herons, ospreys, and egrets. Additionally, while we chug along on the Pudding Creek Express, we'll pass over train tracks that were among the first to be laid down by the California Western Railroad in 1885. It'll be like traveling back in time!

After 75 minutes of thrilling adventure, exploring the estuary, we'll return to the starting point, bringing our train ride to an end.
