At 5:30 pm, we'll meet at Caminho dos Açores, in front of the church Nossa Senhora das Necessidades, where we'll start this sunset tour of Santo Antônio de Lisboa. This neighbourhood was historically a centre of immigration for the Azorean population, so we'll see the strong Portuguese influence in its streets, especially in its architecture.
First of all, we'll walk along one of the most beautiful streets of its historic centre: the Rua das Pedras. Did you know that, according to a legend, the emperor Don Pedro II passed through it? We'll also visit the beautiful church of Nossa Senhora das Necessidades. The very sight of its façade will remind you of the great Catholic churches of Portugal.
After walking through the old town of Santo Antônio de Lisboa, we'll head to the Beira Mar restaurant, where we'll watch the sunset while sipping some caipirinhas and tasting some oysters. The perfect ending!
In this little piece of paradise on the Brazilian coast we'll see how the reddish, orange and violet tones of the sunset gradually cover the coastline. It'll be a very romantic sunset that you'll never forget!
Finally, we'll return to the meeting point at 7:30 pm.
