Tikal excursion (8 hours)

At 8 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel and head to Tikal National Park, a massive natural oasis extending no less than 57,600 hectares. Upon arrival, we'll take a guided tour of this Maya site. During the tour, we'll walk along areas like the Maler Causeway learn about the importance of the ceiba tree in Guatemala and its relationship with the indigenous tribes.

We'll have the opportunity to see two sets of twin pyramids from the 8th century: Complex Q and Complex R. We'll also check out the gigantic Temple IV, a stone titan standing 230 feet (70 meters) high, the third tallest in the Americas. This iconic temple has even served as a backdrop for major films such as Star Wars! Further on, in the Plaza of the Seven Temples, we'll see an atypical triple ballcourt.

After the visit, you'll have an hour of free time to replenish your energy with some traditional dishes.

Tikal sunrise excursion (9 hours)

After picking you up at your hotel at 3 am, we'll leave for Tikal, where we'll enjoy a magical sunrise over the ruins of this ancient Maya city. Once there, we'll walk to Temple IV, the best spot to watch the sunrise and listen to the sounds of nature. 

Next, we'll take a guided tour of the archaeological site of Tikal, where we'll see its most important monuments, including the Plaza of the Seven Temples, the Central Acropolis, the Great Plaza, and Complexes Q and R. You won't miss a thing! After three hours of exploring this fascinating Maya city, we'll return to your hotel in Flores.

Tikal sunset excursion (7 hours)

We'll pick you up from your hotel to get going on our way to Tikal. Upon arrival in the afternoon, we'll have the chance to glimpse some of the local fauna in the area, as most birds and animals are most active at this time of day. 

We'll start our route by visiting the key monuments and sites in this Maya city. We'll pass by places like Plaza Mayor, Temple I, Temple II, the Northern Acropolis and Central Acropolis. From here, we'll scale the 70-meter (229-foot) high pyramid for breathtaking city views. Then, we'll descend onto Temple IV, which will take us further down into the Lost World's High and Low Plaza, the oldest areas in Tikal.

Then, we'll scale another pyramid of 32 meters (104 feet) for a privileged 360 view of the area. From this spot we'll take in the full splendor of a stunning sunset! 7 hours later, we'll return to Flores.

Yaxhá excursion (9 hours)

At 8 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel and drive to the archaeological site of Yaxhá. Once at our destination, we'll board a boat to sail to Topoxté Island, a pre-Columbian site that was the political capital of the Ko'woj Maya.

Afterward, we'll return to Yaxhá to visit the ruins of this ancient ceremonial center, where palaces, ball games, pyramids, and an acropolis stand out. We'll tour this area for three hours and finally return to Flores.

Yaxhá sunset excursion (8 hours)

We'll swing by your hotel in Flores to pick you up for the Yaxhá sunset excursion. After a scenic 1-hour drive, we'll reach our destination, where a delightful lunch awaits before we kick off the tour

Reenergized, we'll embark on a tour of the area, encountering a variety of birds, howler monkeys, and spider monkeys up in the treetops. Our guided exploration of the archaeological site will unveil the significant astronomical complex, the quarry causeway, the Maya ball game, the southern acropolis, and more.

Our journey concludes at the Temple of the Red Hands, providing a breathtaking view of the two stunning lagoons, Yaxha and Sacnab, as we soak in the beauty of a cinematic sunset. After immersing ourselves in this enchanting moment, we'll head back to your accommodation in Flores

Blue Crater excursion (9 hours)

We'll leave your hotel at 8 am to go to the famous Cráter Azul, or Blue Crater. First, we'll arrive at Arroyo El Pucté, a stream where we'll take a boat to visit this natural spa of crystalline waters. Once there, you'll be able to swim and relax in this dreamy paradise, as well as visit the Imox lagoon, the Poza Azul and other sites in the area.
