Inferno Guided Tour
Inferno Guided Tour
At 3 pm we'll meet at the symbolic Piazza della Signoria in Florence. Are you ready to discover this beautiful city through the eyes of the famous Dan Brown? Let's go!
We'll start our walk through the streets of Florence by explaining the plot of Inferno. A protagonist with amnesia, the involvement of the World Health Organisation, a millionaire who falls into disgrace... We'll be immersed in Dan Brown's universe!
During the tour, we'll admire the facades of some of the most famous buildings in the city, such as the National Museum of the Bargello and Florence Cathedral. Do you remember which character from Inferno climbed to the top of the tower of the Badia Fiorentina? And what important object does Robert Langdon find in the baptistery of St. John?
The last stop of the tour will be the Palazzo Vecchio, one of the main settings of the novel and the film. We'll enjoy a guided tour lasting about 50 minutes that will take us to the Salone del Cinquecento, whose decoration was designed by Giorgio Vasari in the 16th century. Here, we'll admire Michelangelo's sculpture Genius of Victory.
We'll also see Dante's death mask and Eleonora of Toledo rooms, the spaces reserved for private audiences and the beautiful Hall of Geographical Maps. Is it true, as Robert Langdon said, that the palace is full of secret passages?
The tour will end at 5 pm. You're free to explore the palace at your leisure or leave the building and end the tour - it's up to you!
