Our food tour of Florence will begin in Via dei Tavolini at the designated time. From here, we'll begin to wander the narrow alleys of the Renaissance city in search of the most authentic eateries.
We'll take advantage of the off-peak hours to visit these establishments that offer some of the best Tuscan culinary delights. A local guide will accompany you to discover these little-known places, where we'll taste the typical crostini, rice pudding, schiachiatta all'olio, and coccoli, which are small fried appetizers stuffed with cheese or meat.
We'll also go to the famous Antico Vinaio, where you'll get to taste their popular sandwiches if you want! If you wish, you can also try the lampredotto, a tasty snack made with tripe and spices.
To complete this culinary experience in Florence, we'll stop at a wine cellar for a wine tasting. The tour will conclude with a homemade gelato to sweeten the palate. No better way to end on a high note!
We'll end the tour back at the meeting point after two hours of tasting and sightseeing.
