We'll meet at the indicated time at Piazzale Montelungo and, from this point in the centre of Florence, cross Tuscany and head towards the region of Umbria.
Our first stop will be in Orvieto, where we'll see its iconic Duomo and St. Patrick's Well from the outside. Afterwards, you'll have free time to explore this medieval town and enjoy the local gastronomy.
After regaining our strength, we'll continue our tour of Umbria by heading to Assisi. Once there, we'll explore the city where St. Francis was born and visit the Basilica of San Francesco d’Assisi. This temple houses numerous frescos by Giotto! We'll also visit the Basilica di Santa Chiara, dedicated to one of the monk's main followers. Finally, we'll go to the huge Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli. Did you know that the Franciscan order was born there?
We'll conclude the tour by returning to the meeting point in Florence, where we'll end this 11-hour tour.
