Volubilis, Mulay Idris and Meknes Tour
Description
After meeting at the indicated time at the main door of the Lycée Moulay Idriss, we'll head west to Volubilis, the ancient Roman city where the most important archeological remains of Morocco are found.
You can spend as much time as you want here, so you can explore the area at your own pace and in your own way. The usual time spent here is between 1 and 2 hours. If you wish, you can also hire a guide at the entrance to the site.
After enjoying the impressive Roman remains, we'll head to Mulay Idris, one of the most important pilgrimage destinations in Morroco. This is a small town where you can see all the essential parts of the medina in less than an hour.
The third stop is Meknes, considered to be the most 'humble' of the four Imperial Cities of Morroco. In Meknes, you'll have free time to eat and visit the most important locations in the city, such as the marketplace and the city square.
Then, we'll head back to Fez and leave you at the meeting point ten hours after the start of the tour.
Temporary Closures
During your visit to Meknes please note that you won't be able to enter Lahdim Square or see the Bab El Mansour gate, as they are closed for renovation work.
