Pedra Alta & Pontinha Viewpoints Hike
When you make your reservation, you can choose one of the routes described below. Both options include hotel pickup and a Portuguese-speaking guide, and both require a reservation with ICMBio.
4-hour Route
We'll pick you up at your hotel in Fernando de Noronha at the indicated time. From there, we'll head to Vila do Trinta to start a hiking route through the viewpoints of Pedra Alta and Pontinha.
Once gathered, we'll follow a path along the coast of Mar de Fora for about 2.3 miles (3.7 km), encountering different volcanic rocks until we reach these famous viewpoints.
From both locations, we'll be able to admire the impressive views of the archipelago of Fernando de Noronha, its natural beauty and the different geographical features of the area - the perfect opportunity to fill your camera with memories!
During the hike, we'll also stop at some natural pools, where we can go for a swim and discover the island's marine biodiversity.
After an exciting day, we'll complete the trail at Caieira Beach. From there, we'll return to your hotel.
5-hour Route
After picking you up at the scheduled time at your hotel in Fernando de Noronha, we'll start a 3.1-mile (5 km) walk to Vila do Trinta.
First, we'll make a stop at Atalaia Beach, a true natural aquarium where the guide will give us all the necessary instructions to explore the area while respecting the environment. Here, we'll also have the opportunity to enjoy its natural pool and admire the local marine fauna while snorkeling.
Then, we'll continue the trail to the incredible viewpoints of Pedra Alta and Pontinha, where we'll enjoy magnificent views of Fernando de Noronha, before heading to other natural pools with crystal clear waters for another refreshing dip.
We'll end the hiking tour at Caieira Beach, and from there we'll take you back to your hotel in Fernando de Noronha.
