Capim Açu + Leão Beach Hiking Tour
Ready for a day of sports and nature? We'll pick you up at your hotel in Fernando de Noronha to head towards Sancho beach, where we'll start a 6.5-kilometer hiking route that will take us to some uniquely beautiful places.
During the hike, full of descents and ascents, we'll pass by some viewpoints to admire the views of both sides of the island of Fernando de Noronha. We'll continue to the Sapata Lighthouse, accessible only through this trail.
From this point, we'll begin a descent to the Capim Açu cavern, an opening in the rock where the seawater seeps through, creating a magical atmosphere. Here we'll make a stop to enjoy its natural pools.
Afterward, we'll continue walking another 3 kilometers along a path of volcanic rocks until we reach Leão beach, one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. But we won't be alone... here we can see sea turtles that come to lay their eggs in the sand!
After seven hours of walking, we'll take you back to your hotel.
Previous reservation
To do this activity, it's necessary to make a reservation in advance at ICMBio (Instituto Chico Mendes de Conservação da Biodiversidade).
To do so, you'll have to go in person to the entrance of the Visitors Center ICMBio / TAMAR - Vila do Boldró, in the National Park of Fernando de Noronha. Opening hours are Monday to Sunday from 3:30 pm to 7 pm. Reservations can be made up to 6 days in advance for a maximum of 6 people. We recommend making the reservation on the day of your arrival on the island.
Please remember to book this product once you have already confirmed your reservation at the national park.
