With this beginners' scuba diving class at Praia do Porto in Fernando de Noronha, we'll discover one of the best spots on the island to practice this sport.

Lesson Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Fernando de Noronha to make our way to Praia do Porto. Find out what underwater treasures are hidden at this beach!

Once we arrive at Praia do Porto, we'll explain the basic concepts behind scuba diving and how to use the equipment to participate in the experience comfortably and safely. Once we've got to grips with the theory, we'll put on the equipment and submerge ourselves in the calm waters of Fernando de Noronha.

Accompanied at all times by the instructor, we'll go on a 12-metre (almost 40-foot) deep dive, that will last a maximum of 30 minutes. It's the moment you've been waiting for!

We'll see the famous Porto Shipwreck, 300 metres (984 feet) away from the coast and home to a great variety of fish and other underwater species. Did you know that it's one of the best spots to go scuba diving in Noronha? If we're lucky, we'll get to spot turtles, small sharks, sting rays, and even dolphins.

Lastly, we'll drop you off at your hotel and say our goodbyes after a total of 3 hours.
