Fermo Night Tour
Fermo Night Tour
At the indicated time, we'll meet up in Piazzale del Girfalco and set off on our night tour of Fermo. Let's go!
To begin, we'll discuss the town's origins as an important Roman settlement and how it had become the largest town in the region by the Middle Ages. From the balcony of the Piazzale we'll also look out at a fantastic view of Fermo lit up at night. Don't forget your camera!
As we explore Fermo, we'll see some of its most symbolic monuments lit up. One of these would be the Cathedral dedicated to St. Mary of the Assumption, which dominated the hill upon which the city sits. We'll also tell you lots of little-known stories about Fermo, such as its link to the moon...
We'll continue strolling along Via del Teatro Antico, where we'll admire the ruins of the Roman Theatre. While walking along Via degli Aceti, we'll discover the importance of the Roman cisterns.
Before our evening tour comes to an end, we'll take a break in a local restaurant to have a drink. You'll be able to toast to a lovely evening with a beer, a glass of wine or a soft drink.
It'll then be time to say our goodbyes at the entrance of the bar at 10:30 pm. See you next time!
