Description
This Faro tourist train will take you on a 50-minute tour around the most important sites of this beautiful city in southern Portugal while learning all about them thanks to the audio guide available aboard.
The train ride will start at Praça Dom Francisco Gomes and we'll first tour the city's old town and spots such as the Cathedral of Faro, the Episcopal Palace, or the statue of Alfonso III, the king who finished claiming the southwestern part of Portugal.
We'll continue onboard the train until we reach the Museum of Faro and one of the most emblematic places in this city: the Natural Park of the Ria Formosa. Did you know that this park is a perfect birdwatching spot? Thanks to the recorded commentary in English, you'll be able to learn all the curiosities of the places we pass by.
The train will take us then to the church of São Francisco, the Faro Market, the church of Carmen, and the Regional Museum of the Algarve.
After 50 minutes aboard the Faro tourist train, we'll end the tour at Praça Dom Francisco Gomes.
