Head to the Faro Marina at your chosen time, where we will give you your kayaks and oars, and leave you free to discover the aquatic delights of the area.
When booking, you will have to indicate if you want to have the kayak equipment for 2.5 hours, 4 or 8 hours.
You can paddle through the Ria Formosa Natural Park, considered one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Portugal, the kayaks meaning you can access hidden places that other larger boats cannot reach. The secrets of this part of the Algarve just a paddle away!
And if you keep your eyes open, you will surely be able to see many of the different species of birds that frequent this area. There are more than 20,000!
After the rental time is over, you will head back to the starting point in Faro, and hand in your kayaks.
Schedules
The schedules vary depending on the season and the amount of time the rental period lasts:
- 2.5 hour rental: Every day at 10 am, 11 am, 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm (from January 1 to March 20 and from October 30 to December 31); every day at 10 am, 11 am, 12:30 pm, 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm (from March 21 to October 29).
- 4 hour rental: Every day at 10 am, 10:30 am, 11 am and 12 pm (from January 1 to March 20 and from October 30 to December 31); every day at 10 am, 10:30 am, 11 am, 12:30 pm, 1:30 pm and 2 pm (from March 21 to October 29).
- 8 hour rental: Every day at 9:30 am (from January 1 to March 20 and from October 30 to December 31); every day at 9:30 am and 10 am (from March 21 to October 29).
