Faro Bike Tour

At 10 am, we'll meet up at the Teatro das Figuras parking lot, where we'll hop on our bikes and start pedaling through the streets of Faro!

During this brilliant bike tour, you'll hear all about the origins of the Algarve's capital. We'll travel back in time as we tell you how Romans, Visigoths, and Muslims have all played a part in the history of this captivating city.

We'll ride past Faro's magnificent cathedral, and admire the ancient city walls which date back more than 2,000 years. We'll also see the elegant Belmarço palace, Carmo church, and many other wonderful monuments.

Halfway through the journey, we'll make a stop to enjoy a typical sweet of Faro. Then, feeling re-energized, we'll continue pedaling towards the riverbank promenade, where you'll be enchanted by the beautiful landscapes of the Formosa estuary!

The bike tour finishes back at the original starting point at approximately 12:30 pm.
