On this dolphin-watching tour, we'll sail in a speedboat to catch a glimpse of dolphins from only a few feet away - let's search for one of the most fascinating sea creatures in the world!

Dolphin Watching Speedboat Tour

At 8.30 am, we'll meet at the Edifício Ginásio Clube Naval in Faro, where we'll start this dolphin-watching activity in search of one of the most fascinating creatures in the world. Let's go find dolphins!

We'll board a speedboat and sail across the Ria Formosa to explore the Atlantic Ocean. The boat will take us to several points where dolphin sightings are more likely to happen. While we enjoy the view of the Algarve coast, we'll listen to the interesting facts about these friendly sea mammals.

Keep your eyes sharp! We'll spot sea turtles, sunfish, and, of course, you'll be able to see common dolphins and bottlenose dolphins. Did you know that dolphins can communicate using ultrasounds? Amazing, right? What's more, we'll also spot several kinds of seabirds, such as the Atlantic gannet and the Mediterranean gull.

After two hours of cruising, we'll end this sighting experience back at the starting point.
