Alaskan Aurora Borealis Tour Options
Did you know that Alaska is known for being one of the best locations in the world to witness the dazzling northern lights? This is attributed to its long nights and minimal light pollution. Eager to see the Aurora Borealis? When reserving this tour, you have two options. Both options include hotel pickup and drop–off, with a duration of approximately four to five hours.
Below, you can find the specifics of each option:
Aurora Borealis in a Sighting Center
At the designated time, we'll collect you from your hotel, where we'll set off on a minibus to embark on a quest for the magical northern lights.
This option offers the perfect setting to marvel at the auroras in a cozy manner! What more could you ask for?
Upon reaching our destination, we'll settle in and focus our gaze on this extraordinary natural spectacle. You'll feel as if you've entered a fantasy world while the lights gracefully dance overhead!
After relishing this exhilarating experience, we'll return to the vehicle and take you back to your hotel in Fairbanks, with an estimated arrival around 3 am.
Murphy Dome Tour
On this tour, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Fairbanks and travel to one of the town's most famous landmarks. The Murphy Dome awaits!
Located in northwest Fairbanks, this US Air Force surveillance radar station is a great place to take in the panoramic views of the area and, of course, watch the Northern Lights. In addition, the Murphy Dome towers at 2,930 feet (880 metres) above sea level, so the views of the northern lights will be all the more impressive!
After enjoying this unforgettable experience, we'll return to your hotel.
Hotel pickup
This tour includes hotel pickup from hotels located in Fairbanks and the North Pole.
