We'll pick you up at your hotel in Fairbanks and head inland, where we'll find one of Alaska's most popular hiking trails.
We'll enter the Chena River State Recreation Area, a state park that offers a multitude of outdoor activities in a unique natural setting.
Here we'll embark on a moderate to strenuous hiking trail of about 3.5 miles, following an uphill path crossing streams and valleys until we reach the iconic Angel Rocks, a set of granite rock formations that are thousands of years old.
From its highest point, we'll take in beautiful views of Angel Creek as we catch our breath after the hike and get our fill of photos. From this point, we'll also be able to marvel at the astonishing beauty of the mountains of the Chena Dome Trail.
On our way back, we'll take the opportunity to learn about the different ecosystems and observe the flora and fauna of this part of Alaska. This area is home to many beavers, moose, grouse and even grizzly bears - with any luck, we may be able to see them for ourselves!
After the hike, we'll drive you back to Fairbanks, where arrival at your hotel is scheduled for five to six hours after pickup.
