Tour Details

We'll begin this guided tour of Fafe in the vibrant Praça 25 de Abril, the perfect starting point to explore the rich heritage of this town in the Braga district.

First, we'll pass by Rua Monsenhor Vieira de Castro and Rua Ferreira de Castro, where you'll admire the influence of Brazilian architecture that has left its mark on Fafe. Then, we'll stop at Club Fafense, a social center filled with life.

As we continue, we'll visit important sites, such as the traditional Minho costumes workshop, where the local culture comes to life through its clothes. You'll also explore the Hospital and the Igreja Nova de São José, two authentic symbols of the town.

In addition, the Fafe Theatre Film and the Casa da Culture de Fafe will show you the town's commitment to the arts and education, while the Archivo Municipal and the City Hall will show you more of this charming town's history.

Our tour of Fafe will conclude in the beautiful Jardim do Calvário (Calvary Garden), an oasis of tranquility. Here, we'll say goodbye after a total of 2.5 hours.
