On this excursion to Granada from Estepona, you'll journey back in time to the era of Al-Andalus with a guided tour of the Alhambra, a true gem of the Nasrid dynasty.
Granada Excursion
At 5:40 am we'll pick you up at the bus stop located on Avenida Litora in Estepona. From here, we'll travel to Granada, the ancient capital of the Nasrid Kingdom.
After making several pickups from other points of the Costa del Sol, we'll finally arrive in Granada. First, we'll visit the monuments of the breathtaking Alhambra. The route begins at the Palace of Charles V, built in the 16th century by order of the emperor.
Then, we'll visit the Nasrid Palaces of the Alhambra, where we'll see the Comares Palace and the Palace of the Lions, famous for its monumental fountain. During the visit, we'll discover the details of the typical Andalusian architecture of this historical complex declared a World Heritage Site.
The Alhambra tour will continue with a visit to the Generalife gardens, where you'll be seduced by the intoxicating aroma of the blossoming plants of its beautiful and colorful flowerbeds.
After the visit to the Alhambra, we'll make our way into the center of Granada to go on a walking tour of its main monuments. Following this guided tour, you'll have two hours of free time to have lunch and enjoy the charms of the city's historic center. Don't miss the Royal Chapel, the final resting place of the Catholic Monarchs!
In the afternoon we'll return to Estepona, where arrival is scheduled for 10 hours after pickup.
