Explore the marine depths of the Mediterranean with this Medes Islands Snorkelling activity. Discover the rich biodiversity hidden around the archipelago as you swim along the seabed.
Medes Islands Snorkelling
At 2 pm we'll meet at 13 Passeig Marítim in Estartit, where we'll watch a short documentary on the great biodiversity of the Medes Islands Marine Reserve. Let the adventure begin!
We'll walk to the port of Estartit to board a boat to the Medes archipelago. During the 10 minute crossing, we'll put our snorkelling gear on while admiring the beautiful landscapes of the Mediterranean.
When we reach the islands, we'll dive into the sea to explore the seabed for 50 minutes. What specimens will we see? You'll be surprised by the array of colourful fish.
Afterwards, we'll return to the boat to change clothes. Before setting sail, you can take one last dip in this very special corner of the Costa Brava. Once we're all back on board, we'll start the return journey by going past other smaller islands in the Medas.
Finally, at 4:30 pm we'll dock at the port of Estartit.
Boat Ride
The boat ride isn't always included since it depends on the weather conditions during the activity. If it's possible, we'll take a boat ride around the Medes Islands.
