At the indicated time, we'll meet in front of the Cap Sim Hotel, from where we'll start our delicious street food tour of Essaouira. Are you ready to savor authentic Moroccan flavors?
Our first stop will be at a local street market, where we'll taste delicacies like olives, freshly squeezed orange juice or a traditional Moroccan tea. Afterward, we'll continue to a spice store, where you're sure to be captivated by the aroma of Moroccan spices!
From here, our walking tour will also take us outside the Jewish Museum. Here we'll discuss the influence this community had on Moroccan gastronomy. Later, we'll visit the old port of Essaouira, to taste oysters and fresh fish.
Next up, we'll enter the Medina of Essaouira and discover its most emblematic corners as we reveal the history of the city and its cuisine, marked by a fascinating mix of cultures. Before the end of the tour, we'll enjoy a delicious lunch in a traditional restaurant inside the Medina.
Throughout the food tour, we'll indulge in several typical dishes such as tajine, couscous, grilled meat skewers and pastries such as gazelle horns.
After a 4-hour tour, we'll say goodbye after a yummy experience.
