At the indicated time we'll meet at the Ercolano Scavi station, from where the bus will take you to the Vesuvius National Park. The journey by road will take about 30 minutes.
Once we reach an elevation of 1000 metres, you'll be able to get off the bus and have a total of 2 hours of free time to explore these volcanic landscapes. The views of the Gulf of Naples are truly spectacular.
Vesuvius is world famous for the violent eruption that occurred in the year 79 A.D., a process that ended up burying the Roman cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum. You can walk along its trails and even reach its crater. It'll blow your mind!
Time to get back on the bus! This time, we'll take you to the Pompeii Archaeological Park, where we'll arrive after approximately 40 minutes. Once there, we'll give you the tickets for this site and we'll say goodbye.
You'll be able to explore Pompeii at your own pace for as long as you wish until it closes. Its perfectly preserved frescoes and buildings will allow you to take a true journey back in time to discover what life was like during the ancient Roman Empire. The House of the Faun, the temple of Apollo, the Forum or the Lupanar are some of the places not to be missed.
Once you've visited the ruins, you can make your own way back to Herculaneum by train or bus, stay a night in Pompeii or travel to Naples or any other destination you wish. The choice is yours!
