Ensenada Wine Tour
Tour Details
At 10 am we'll pick you up from your hotel and take a 20-minute journey by minibus to the beautiful scenery of Valle de Guadalupe.
Baja California is an important wine region in Mexico, so it's no surprise that the area produces 90% of the country's wine. What better way of getting to know the area than on a wine tour? During the day, we'll visit four local wineries where we'll learn about how the star product is produced.
Did you know that Baja California generates around two million boxes of wine annually? You'll learn this and more as we explore the legendary Santo Tomás Winery, the oldest and most famous in the area, producing over 40 labels of wines, olive oils, and chocolate.
Next, we'll go to a local restaurant and have an hour and a half of free time for lunch.
The tour will finish getting back on the bus and returning to your hotel at 5 pm.
Arriving by Cruise Ship?
If you're arriving by cruise ship, we'll meet you at the Social, Civic, and Cultural Center, Riviera de Ensenada, at the scheduled time.
Wine Tastings
The wine tastings aren't included on this tour. In each winery, you will be offered a sampling of the different varieties of wine produced. The wine-tasting prices usually vary between 20 and US$ 45, depending on the winery, the type of sampling, and the number of wines.
