Ensenada Wine & Cheese Tasting
Ensenada Wine & Cheese Tasting
We'll pick you up from your hotel at the time indicated and head to Valle de Ojos Negros until we reach Cava de Marcelo.
To kick off our activity, we'll head to the most elevated winery in Baja California. At 1,640 feet (500 metres) above sea level, this would be Infinito Winery. Here, you'll be able to tour the facilities, explore the vineyard and taste some wine on your own.
Afterwards, we'll head to our next stop and admire incredible views on the way. You'll be in awe of the beautiful rural landscape and how the deep green tones of the vineyards mix with the meadows full of grazing dairy cows. Did you know that Cava Marcelo is the main producer of artisan cheese in Baja California? While we pass through the different installations, we'll learn more about the business which has been active for over 100 years.
During the visit, we'll stop in one of the dining areas to enjoy a delicious cheese tasting complemented by great wine, both of which are produced internally. We'll sample different types of famous Ramonetti cheeses and quench our thirst as we learn how to differentiate between the delicate tones of these two products.
After the tasting, we'll go to the ranch's restaurant, La Casa Marcelo. Here you can enjoy a delicious lunch full of organic products from Valle de Ojos Negros and Guadalupe. Don't miss out on this unique food experience!
The tour will end by taking you back to your hotel after 7 hours of activity.
