At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Ella, and from here, we'll kick off this private day trip to the Bambarakanda Falls. Let's go!
The journey will begin at the station at Ella, where we'll hop onto a train to travel for 1 hour and 50 minutes into the heart of the jungle. Once we arrive, we'll make a stop to re-energise with breakfast at a local restaurant.
Afterwards, we'll go on a 4-hour hike where we'll venture into nature towards the most famous waterfalls in the region. Additionally, along the way, we'll have pauses to enjoy our surroundings and hand out a drink and a sandwich.
We'll first head over to the Lanka Waterfalls, where you'll have some free time to take a dip in the natural pools. We'll continue along the trail before at last reaching the area's main attraction. The Bambarakanda Falls will appear before you! Did you know that they are the tallest in the country? They're 263 metres (863 feet) tall!
We'll make the most of our time here to enjoy a delicious lunch with views of the majestic Bambarakada Falls. Such a breathtaking experience!
With our bellies full, we'll begin the journey back to Ella. We'll arrive back at your accommodation after a total of 10 hours.
