One of the best activities you can do on the island, different and with direct contact with the animal, always with the same respect they deserve. El Tanque Camel Ride Tour

At the selected time, we'll meet at the Camel Center in the town of El Tanque, located in northern Tenerife. First, we'll help you get on the camel saddles and explain some safety measures.

Then, when you least expect it, the animals will get up and we'll begin an enjoyable tour through the beautiful natural area of El Tanque.

This camel ride tour will take us through protected natural areas full of the lush native vegetation of the highlands of Tenerife. We'll also spot broad potato crops, cereal or grape plantations, and native animal species of the archipelago such as the Canary Island goat or the pelibuey sheep.

After a half-hour camel ride, we'll bid farewell to the camels and end the activity.

La experiencia del paseo con camellos ha sido curiosa. Si que es verdad que se anunciaba que eran 30 min y hemos estado escasos 20 min. La ruta ha sido muy simple ya que pasamos continuamente por el mismo sitio. Los camellos eran muy dóciles, el de atrás no se separaba de mí...jajaj El personal era muy amable! El paseo (a pesar de ser un trayecto corto) fue muy ameno, nos reímos un montón. Las señales de tráfico muy graciosas y le dan un toque. El tiempo estaba regulín pero por suerte no llovió.
