Doñana National Park 4x4 Tour
Doñana National Park 4x4 Tour
At your chosen time we'll meet on Calle Moguer, in front of the Hermitage of El Rocío. We'll set off in our 4x4 to the areas with restricted access in the northern part of the Doñana National Park.
During our tour, we'll see some of the different ecosystems that thrive in the Doñana. Some of the places we'll see will be the pine forests of Coto del Rey, the cork oak forests of Matasgordas and the marshes of Hinojos. In addition, we'll go to the José Antonio Valverde Visitor Centre to learn more about the nature found in this area.
As we explore the Doñana, we'll also see birds endemic to this area such as herons, cormorants, seagulls and avocets. We'll see how the marshes of the Guadalquivir River constitute a vibrant ecosystem that allows the development of these birds and dozens of other species.
We'll also admire mammals native to the Doñana from a distance, such as deer, fallow deer, wild boar, foxes and, of course, the Iberian lynx. Did you know that this feline is in danger of extinction? We'll learn all about several projects in place that are dedicated to the conservation of this species.
After a 4-hour tour, we'll return to the meeting point and drop you off.
