Santa Cruz River Kayak Tour
Santa Cruz River Kayak Tour
After picking you up at your hotel in El Calafate at 9 am we will head in a 4x4 vehicle to the banks of the Santa Cruz River. There, the kayaks will be waiting for us to begin our brilliant tour of the river.
Before we jump into the water, we will explain some basic safety notions and teach you how to paddle correctly during this adventure.
After paddling for an hour and a half, we will enjoy the incredible landscapes of the Santa Cruz River and we will talk about the diverse wildlife that inhabits this part of Argentinean Patagonia. Charles Darwin himself studied this area and we will tell you all the fascinating facts about his expedition.
We will reach the El Rincón estancia where we get out of the kayaks and enjoy a delicious lunch on the river bank - the best way to regain your strength. The meal will consist of a provocleta with tomato, salad, beef filet, and a delicious chocolate mouse, accompanied by a refreshing drink.
Once we have eaten, we will board the 4x4 vehicle once more and finish the tour by dropping you at your hotel at 2 pm.
