Laguna Capri Hiking Tour
Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in El Calafate and set off to Los Glaciares National Park. Are you ready for an exciting hiking route through Laguna Capri? Get your cameras ready!
We'll embark on a journey through Ruta 40, where you'll admire the majestic Lago Argentino and La Leona. Here, we'll stop to rest before continuing our trip along the Viedma Lake. We'll then reach the village of El Chaltén, the starting point for our hiking route.
Once we arrive, we'll begin our 4.97-mile (8-kilometer) hike through the valley of Las Vueltas River, which offers a lovely scenic view of the valleys and mountains of Los Glaciares National Park.
We'll cross the Patagonian forest, dominated by Antarctic beach trees and white oaks. After 2 hours of walking, we'll reach Laguna Capri. From its shore, you'll enjoy views of Mount Fitz Roy, also known as Cerro Chaltén. Did you know that for many years, it was believed that this mountain was actually a volcano?
