Day 1: El Calafate
After breakfast we'll take you to the airport in El Calafete, we'll be waiting to take you to your hotel. You'll then have the rest of the day free to explore the city and to relax ready for the adventure ahead.
Day 2: Los Glaciares National Park
After an energising breakfast at the hotel in El Calafete, we'll pick you up at 8:30 am and leave the city behind, heading to Los Glaciares National Park. We'll spend two and a half hours exploring the famous Perito Moreno, an enormous glacier that's a total of 19 miles (30 km) in length. No wonder the national park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site! After admiring the breathtaking views of the ice walls - which have an average height of 240 feet (74 metres) above the surface of the water - we'll return to El Calafete, where you'll have the rest of the afternoon free.
Day 3: El Calafate - Ushuaia
We'll have breakfast at the hotel before transferring you to the airport or bus station for your journey to Ushuaia (not included). On arrival, we'll pick you up and take you to your hotel in the city.
Day 4: Tierra del Fuego National Park
On day four of your tour, we'll collect you from the hotel in Ushuaia at 9 am and set off for the Southern Fuegian Railway, also known as the Train of the End of the World. Do you know how the historic railway is related to the Ushuaia Prison? The guide will reveal all on the day! You'll be able to make your own journey on the iconic End of the World train to Tierra del Fuego National Park (not included), or go to the coast of the Beagle Channel to see the Redonda and Estorbo Islands.
We'll then meet back up in national park, where we'll enjoy a leisurely walk along the shores of Lake Roca and the Lapataia River, which are located on the border with Chile. At the end of the excursion, we'll head back to Ushuaia, where you'll be dropped back off at 2 pm.
Day 5: Ushuaia
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll have free time before we leave for the airport in Ushuaia. We'll then say goodbye after five unforgettable days exploring Argentine Patagonia.
Accommodation
This five day tour includes four nights' accommodation with breakfast. When making your reservation, you'll have the choice between four different hotel categories:
El Calafate (2 nights):
- 2 Star Hotel: Ariel or similar.
- 3 Star Hotel: Bahía Redonda or similar.
- 4 Star Hotel: Álamos or similar.
Ushuaia (2 nights):
- 2 Star Hotel: Linares or similar.
- 3 Star Hotel: Las Lenga or similar.
- 4 Star Hotel: Albatros or similar.
Note on prices
- The price indicated is per person sharing a double room
- The cost of accommodation is non-refundable once the reservation has been made. The remaining part of the tour price is refundable according to our terms and conditions, which can be read in our cancellation policy.
- This tour does not include flights or buses between the different cities. You should take care of these tickets yourselves.
