Are you looking for a unique, unforgettable experience in Argentina? If you're interested in rural tourism, the Estancia El Galpón farmhouse is waiting for you with numerous activities for you to immerse yourself in the traditional Argentinian lifestyle.
We'll pick you up from your hotels at 4:30 pm and head to the farm. We'll get there in just 20 minutes and will be welcomed with a 100% homemade snack.
Then we'll explore the farm and watch the sheep grazing. We'll be accompanied by gauchos (horseriders) and herding dogs.
After meeting the local cattle, we'll enjoy a short walk along the shores of Lake Argentino and learn a little more about Patagonian wildlife, listening to the birds singing.
The next part of the tour is a visit to a 1912 barn, where you'll find out about sheep shearing and wool quality.
It's dinner time! Estancia El Galpón will treat you to a typical Patagonian dish of roast lamb with a variety of salads and vegetables. After dinner we'll make our way back to the hotels of El Calafate, arriving by around 10 pm.
