El Chalten and Mirador Condores Trip

At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your hotel in El Calafate set off along the famous Route 40. This road will take us through stunning Patagonian landscapes, around the beautiful Lake Argentino and across the picturesque Santa Cruz and La Leona rivers.

After a brief pause to stretch our legs next to La Leona, we will continue along Route 40 alongside the pretty Lake Viedma with the magnificent Andes Mountains in the background. The road trip will end in the famous mountain village of El Chaltén, where we will visit its Interpretation Centre. From there, we will begin a enjoyable, gentle hike lasting about an hour and a quarter.

At the end of the trail, the famous Mirador de los Cóndores viewpoint awaits us, where we will enjoy a fantastic panorama of Cerro Torre and Mount Fitz Roy. This observation point will also have unique views of the surrounding glacial landscapes.

Once we have taken the necessary photos, we will walk back to El Chaltén to enjoy a delicious lunch in a local restaurant. The menu includes a main course and a non-alcoholic beverage, a choice of sparkling or mineral water. After, we will take another 30-minute hike to the picturesque Chorrillo del Salto waterfall. Remember to bring your camera to capture an eternal memory of these beautiful cascades!

After contemplating the waterfall, we will return on foot to El Chaltén, where you will have one hour of free time to visit the town on your own. Finally, we will meet up again to return to El Calafate. The arrival at your hotel is scheduled for between 8 and 9 pm.
