Activities
When making your reservation, you'll have the choice of which activity you'd prefer to do in Cerro Frías. Every option includes pick up and drop off at your hotel or the meeting point in El Calafate.
4x4 Jeep tour
We'll climb up Cerro Frías hill in a 4x4 Jeep, and the all-terrain vehicle will allow us to delve into the mountain trails overlooking Lake Argentino. Making a stop at a viewpoint located at 450 metres above sea level, we'll enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the Centinela River Valley. We'll then continue the ascent to a second viewpoint, at 1030 metres, from which we'll get to admire the Torres del Paine, the Boca del Diablo and the peaks of the Andes.

Horseback riding
This route will take us across the plains and mallines of Patagonia on horseback up to the slopes of Cerro Frías. After a 30-minute horse ride, we'll see the beautiful natural landscapes of the Centinela Valley and the Torres del Paine. What's more, we'll discover the local wildlife that inhabits this area of Argentina: from cows and guanacos to hares, armadillos and skunks!

Zip lining tour
We'll set off by all-terrain Jeep and take you to a platform located 560 metres up on Cerro Frías. From there, we'll embark on an adventure on a zip-lining course! This zigzag circuit has five different sections, each of which is approximately 500 metres long, making it one of the longest zip lines in South America!
- This activity only takes place from October to April at 8:30 am and 2 pm.
Hiking tour
Immerse yourself in the rugged landscapes of Patagonia enjoying a hike to the southern slope of Cerro Frías. We'll get to see impressive landmarks like Lake Argentino, Torres del Paine and the Centinela Valley. During the trek, we'll also see the steppes and lenga beech forests that characterise Patagonia.
- This activity only takes place from October to April at 8:30 am and 2 pm.
Ticket options
Tour with lunch
If you book for lunch, you'll enjoy a delicious meal at the restaurant located on the southern slope of Cerro Frías. Lunch includes a Patagonian stew and a dessert. You can also choose a vegetarian or gluten-free option.
Tour with an afternoon snack
The option with an afternoon snack includes tea, coffee, or hot chocolate accompanied by a sweet cake.
Tour with dinner
Dinner includes three dishes: empanadas, lentil stew, and a brownie with dulce de leche on top.
Please note that the lunch, snack break, or dinner will take place after the activity is finished.
Hotel pickup
We'll pick you up at the hotels, Airbnbs, and private homes in central El Calafate. If you're staying in a more remote area, you must go to the following meeting point in Cerro Frias Office, located at 35 Tomás Espora Street.
