How it Works
The duration of the card's validity begins on the day it's first used. From that moment on, you can use it for the next 48 hours. For example, if you activate the Royal Edinburgh Ticket on a Monday at 12 pm, it'll be valid until 11:59 am on Wednesday.

To enjoy the benefits of the Royal Edinburgh Ticket, you'll have to redeem the voucher at the St. Andrew Square sightseeing bus stop.

Royal Yacht Britannia
Open daily at the following times:
- January - March: from 10 am to 5 pm (final admission is at 3 pm)
- April - August: from 9:30 am to 6 pm (final admission is at 4 pm)
- September: from 10 am to 6 pm (final admission is at 4 pm)
- October: from 10 am to 5:30 pm (final admission is at 3:30 pm)
- November - December: from 10 am to 5 pm (final admission is at 3 pm)
Holyroodhouse Palace
- November 1 - March 31: from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm (final admission is at 3:15 pm)
- April 1 - October 31: from 9:30 am to 6 pm (final access is at 4:30 pm)
From June to October, the palace is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The rest of the year, the palace is open every day.
The palace closes from May 16-25 and from June 27 - July 5. During these times, instead of the palace, you'll have access to The King's Gallery and its temporary exhibition. We'll also have a printed guide to the Holyroodhouse Palace.
Edinburgh Tour Schedule
The bus runs every day, from April 2 - October 28 from 9:06 am to 5:54 pm, with departures every 12 minutes.
Regal Tour Schedule
The bus runs every day, from April 2 - October 28 from 9 am to 5:30 pm, with departures every 15 minutes.
City Sightseeing Edinburgh Schedule
The bus runs every day, from April 2 - October 28 from 9 am to 6 pm, with departures every 10-12 minutes.
