Harry Potter Train Tour
Harry Potter Train Tour
Have you got your Hogwarts wand and robes ready? We'll meet at High Street in Edinburgh at the scheduled time and hop on a bus that'll take us across the Scottish Highlands to Mallaig. Our journey will take around 4 hours.
During the bus journey, we'll cross the mighty Forth Bridge, which leads to the Kingdom of Fife as well as Perth. At Mallaig, one of the world's most famous steam locomotives awaits us - the Jacobite. All aboard!
We'll board the railway that recreated the Hogwarts Express, the train used by the Harry Potter characters to travel to the school of witchcraft and wizardry. However, our journey will be much more special, as we'll spend 2 hours admiring some of Scotland's most spectacular landscapes.
Along the way, we'll travel through the Scottish Highlands and cross the iconic Glenfinnan Viaduct, one of the most repeated scenes in the young wizard's saga.
The Jacobite train will also pass through Rannoch Moor. In addition, we'll tell you the most surprising and traditional local stories so that you can get to know the Scottish past in a different way.
After twelve and a half hours of fun and magic, we'll return to the starting point in Edinburgh.
Additional Info
Due to maintenance work, the line between Fort William and Mallaig will be closed from September 1-5, 2025, and no services will operate during these dates.
