Tour Details
Don't want to miss anything of the Scottish capital? At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Johnnie Walker shop on Princes Street to begin our tour of Edinburgh's most popular tourist attractions.
First, we'll head to Charlotte Square. We'll then go to Rose Street and George Street. While you explore this area, we'll share some surprising facts about Edinburgh, including facts about the iconic Hotel Balmoral and the majestic Scott Monument.
Then, we'll go to the National Gallery of Scotland, an art gallery housing the work of Scotland's most famous artists of all time. We'll see paintings by Sir Henry Raeburn, Alexander Nasmyth or the Glasgow Boys & Girls.
At this point, you'll have free time to have lunch in a restaurant in the city centre. After lunch, we'll head into the Old Town, where Edinburgh's most iconic landmarks are located. Greyfriars Kirkyard, the famous Royal Mile, St Giles' Cathedral... We'll see it all!
Finally, we'll round off the tour with a visit to Edinburgh Castle. There, we'll take a guided tour of the interior of this fortress built on an extinct volcano. We'll enter St Margaret's Chapel, the prisons and the Great Hall and see the One O'Clock Gun.
After a 5 to 6-hour tour of Edinburgh and a journey through its history, we'll bid farewell at the Castle exit and end the tour.
