Tour Details

Don't want to miss anything of the Scottish capital? At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Johnnie Walker shop on Princes Street to begin our tour of Edinburgh's most popular tourist attractions.

First, we'll head to the picturesque Dean Village. Here, we'll have a guided visit to discover Edinburgh's old milling area along the Water of Leith, the river that runs through the capital.

Afterwards, we'll approach Edinburgh's New Town, a World Heritage Site, where we'll find the city's most elegant building-museum, The Georgian House. We'll admire this imposing Georgian-style mansion and go inside to see what life was like for Scottish high society in the 18th and 19th centuries.

The next stop of the day is the National Gallery of Scotland, an art gallery housing the work of Scotland's most famous artists of all time. We'll see paintings by Sir Henry Raeburn, Alexander Nasmyth or the Glasgow Boys & Girls.

At this point, you'll have free time to have lunch in a restaurant in the city centre. After lunch, we'll head into the Old Town, where Edinburgh's most iconic landmarks are located. Greyfriars Kirkyard, the famous Royal Mile, St Giles' Cathedral... We'll see it all!

Finally, we'll round off the tour with a visit to Edinburgh Castle. There, we'll take a guided tour of the interior of this fortress built on an extinct volcano. We'll enter St Margaret's Chapel, the prisons and the Great Hall and see the One O'Clock Gun

After a 6.5-hour tour of Edinburgh and a journey through its history, we'll bid farewell at the Castle exit and end the tour.

Additional Info

This tour includes all entrance fees for the visit. However, please note that on occasion, Edinburgh's sights may be closed due to official events or weather conditions. If this is the case, we'll find an alternative.

In the winter season between October 16 and March 25, the Dean Village and The Georgian House will not be visited, so the tour duration will be reduced to 5 hours.
