Écija Mysteries & Legends Tour
Écija Mysteries & Legends Tour
Meet us at the Roman pond in the Plaza de España to start our Écija mysteries & legends tour. Off we go!
At our first stop, we'll get to know the myth of the wounded Amazon of Ecija. This singular Roman sculpture, discovered in 2002 due to renovation construction in Plaza de España, is linked to a dark and sordid past. Stick around as we share its dark secrets!
Moving on, we'll arrive at the palaces of Valdehermoso and Marquises of Peñaflor palaces. As we admire the intricately decorated Baroque-style facades, we'll learn about Ecijan nobility, who knew splendor during the 18th century. What grim mysteries surround their legacy?
Next up, we'll arrive at the altarpiece of Jesus Without Rope. Here, we'll discuss the story behind the famous miracle that took place as we inquire into the mysteries of the martyr Saint Francis Diaz of Ecija.
We'll continue our route as we come to the plazas of Santa Maria and Santa Cruz. Between these three esplanades, mysterious events took place. Listen close as we share the bone-chilling details with you.
Then, after 2 hours of frightening exploration, we'll return to Plaza de España bringing our tour to a close.
