Our Private Tours
Upon making your booking, you can select the private tour around Easter Island. All the options include pickup from your hotel, private transport and an English-speaking guide. Next, we'll tell you about the differences between each option:
Tour around Orongo and Rano Kau Volcano
The first stop on this tour will be at Ahu Vinapu, an archaeological site formed by some of the impressive stone constructions that date back to the Incan Empire.
Afterwards, we'll make our way to the famous Rano Kau Volcano. There we'll walk up its hillsides and admire its crater, which currently is a lake of fresh water. The sheer scale will surprise you!
Near Rano Kau, we'll discover the ruins of the ceremonial village of Orongo. We'll see stone structures and petroglyphs related to the Makemake religious cult and the tradition of the "bird men". Finally, between 3 and 5 hours later, we'll arrive back at your hotel.
Easter Island and Anakena Beach Tour
After picking you up from your hotel, we'll make our way to Ahu Vinapu, and after we'll visit Ahu Akahanga. Did you know that the latter location is the place where the first king of Rapa Nui, lived and died? Here, we'll see various moai structures and a mysterious cave.
We'll continue the tour along the coast passing various ceremonial platforms, such as Ahu One Makihi and Ahu Tongariki. The latter features 15 moais of up to 9 metres (29 feet) in height.
We'll continue the tour passing by the crater of the Rano Raraku Volcano and Ovahe Beach, where we'll be able to enjoy the tranquil atomosphere. We'll finish the tour on the largest coralline sand beach on the island, Anankena. With its turquoise blue waters, colourful fish and palm trees, it will feel like we are in paradise.
After between 5 and 6 hours, we'll return to the hotel again.
Terevaka Volcano Tour
We'll pick you up from your hotel and begin the journey towards the Terevaka Volcano, the highest mountain of Easter Island. Did you know that it stands at 511 metres (1676 feet) in height?
Once we've arrived at the hillside of the volcano, you can choose between hiking or riding a horse up to the summit. Little by little, we'll start ascending to the top of Terevaka to enjoy some of the most spectacular panoramic views. Photo moment!
As we traverse the volcanic landscape, we'll learn about the geological history of Terrevaka. This is fundamental to understanding the formation of Easter Island! Finally, we'll return to the hotel after between 3 and 5 hours.
Boat Tour around Hanga Roa
After being collected from your accommodation, we'll make our way to the Hanga Roa Harbour, the island capital, and hop abroad on a traditional Rapanui boat. Just for us!
We'll begin sailing along the Hanga Roa coast gazing at the crystal clear water. Did you know that this area of the Pacific has some of the most clear water in the world? With a visibility of up to 60 metres (196 feet) deep.
We'll navigate towards the extinct Rano Kau Volcano, located in the very south of the island. At its feet, we'll see an archipelago formed by 3 islets: Motu Kao Kao, Motu Iti and Motu Nui, the latter being the largest. During the journey, we'll admire the imposing cliffs on the southern part of Easter Island, and even make a stop to take a dip in the water and practice some snorkelling.
Finally, we'll return to the Hanga Roa pier and make our way back to the hotels after between 4 and 6 hours.
Ahu Tongariki Sunrise Tour
We'll collect you from your hotel and make our way to Ahu Tongariki before sunrise. We'll discover why this is one of the most impressive archaeological sites on Rapa Nui.
Once at Ahu Tongariki, we'll see the first rays of sun hit Easter Island. Here, we'll witness one of the most beautiful moments of the day on this Chilean island, when the sun emerges from behind the majestic moais.
This spectacular view, with the Pacific Ocean in the background, will offer us the opportunity to relax and enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of this sunrise. This seems like the perfect time to take a photo, right?
Finally, after between 2 and 3 hours, we'll return to your hotel on Easter Island.
