Discounts on public transport
The great advantage of the Dresden Regio Card is that it serves as a ticket on local public transport in the city of Dresden. The card works as a ticket for 1, 2 or 3 days, depending on the option you've selected, and is valid until 4 am the following day.
You can also get discounts of up to 10% on tram and bus travel in the Elbe region, on the Dresden suspension railway, the Kirnitzschtal tramway and the Weißeritztalbahn railway.
How does it work?
The card will be activated the first time you use it in any of the museums, exhibitions or transport services. It will then be valid for the following 24, 48 or 72 hours, depending on your booking. If, for example, you have chosen the 48-hour card and you activate it on Monday at 2:30 pm, it will be valid until Wednesday at 2:30 pm.
Collecting your card
You can collect your Dresden Regio Card from one of the tourist information points below:
- Frauenkirche tourist information point: QF-Passage offices, Neumarkt, 2. Open Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 7 pm, Saturdays until 6 pm and Sundays until 3 pm.
- Central Station tourist information point: Weiner Platz, 4. Open Monday to Sunday from 9 am to 9 pm.
