Hiking Routes
The route of your hike will vary depending on the day of the week you have chosen. All routes start at 9 am from Viale Kennedy in Dorgali and end at the same point:
Cala Luna Route (Friday)
Prefer a coastal hike? For this route, a 4x4 will take us to Cala Gonone, where we'll embark on a four-and-a-half-hour hike to Cala Luna. Considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia, Cala Luna boasts turquoise waters, golden sand, sea caves and high cliffs. A true gem of the Gulf of Orosei!
Once in the bay, you'll have two and a half hours of free time to recharge your batteries and enjoy a well-deserved dip in the sea. Afterward, we'll start our way back through the Codula di Luna canyon, concluding the route at 7 pm.
Gorropu Gorge Route (Saturday)
If you opt for this route, we'll travel by jeep to Gorropu Gorge. From there, we'll begin a five-hour hike through one of the deepest canyons in Europe, admiring its towering walls and marveling at the large population of golden eagles that fly over the area along the way.
Throughout the tour, we'll make several stops to take a break and snap some photos. You'll also have an hour of free time to have lunch in this beautiful natural environment. This route will finish at 5 pm.
Mount Tiscali Route (Sunday)
If you are passionate about history and nature, this trekking route on Mount Tiscali will captivate you from beginning to end. First, we'll take a 4x4 vehicle to the starting point of the route. From there, we'll hike for four and a half hours on this mountain in the Gulf of Orosei, making our way to an ancient Nuragic settlement.
At this fascinating archaeological site, we'll tell you all about how this civilization lived, interesting tidbits about their defensive towers and how they succumbed to the Roman Empire. Then, we'll leave you an hour to have lunch in the beautiful surroundings of Mount Tiscali, finishing the activity at 4 pm.
