Ready for an exciting day in Doha? We'll pick you up from your hotel first thing in the morning and head out into the desert to discover and watch a live camel race.
We'll travel for approximately 45 minutes to the camel racing circuit of Al Shahaniya. Upon arrival, we'll learn all about this unique discipline, such as its history, its importance in the country and its cultural significance. We'll also see how the camels are prepared for the race and the care they receive on a daily basis.
Once everything is ready, we'll take our seats in the minibus and get ready to follow the camel race, which we can assure you will be very exciting! We'll experience the race from the vehicle so that we can see it in full, until they cross the finish line.
After this fun moment, we'll visit a local market to buy some souvenirs of the camel race. We'll then leave the circuit and head to the Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani Museum, one of the most important private collections in Qatar.
Located in the town of Al Shahaniya, this museum has more than 15,000 exhibits that provide a perfect overview of the country's history. During a 45-minute tour of the Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani Museum, you'll see everything from antique cars, dhows and traditional clothes to unique pieces of Islamic art and valuable manuscripts.
Finally, we'll return to Doha and end this 4 to 5-hour tour at your hotel.
