Detroit, the Motor City...or is it the Murder City? Explore Detroit's hidden dark side on a ghost tour of its most haunted sites and see for yourself!

Discover Detroit's Hidden Dark Side

Welcome to Detroit, the Motor City! Known as the birthplace of the American motor industry, Detroit boasts a rich cultural heritage combined with industrial contributions. The city also has a dark past that most don't know about. Meet us at the Alhambra Building downtown, and we'll set off on a tour of the ghostly underbelly of Detroit!

We'll start our tour with a haunting story of the Alhambra Building. This abandoned apartment complex, once the home of the city's most affluent, soon transformed into a notorious crime scene. What dark deeds and eerie hauntings followed? We'll find out on the tour! Here's a hint: Rose Barron became a name synonymous with this haunting story.

From here, we'll walk over to the Whitney, the former residence of another formerly affluent family that fell into ruin following a disastrous marriage. Then, we'll see the world's largest Masonic Temple, home of the most mysterious secret society, the Freemasons.

Throughout the tour, our friendly guide will share with us other bone-chilling stories about several infamous characters from Detroit. For example, did you know that the legendary magician Harry Houdini performed his final (and permanent) disappearing act at Grace Hospital? Even Prince has his own ghostly tale to tell in Detroit!

Then, after a spine-tingling hour immersed in Detroit's dark side, we'll bring the tour to an end back at the meeting point. Boo!
