During your visit, you'll see the Temple of Apollo, the most important building of the entire site, which was erected in the 4th century BC on the foundations of an even older one, and you will be amazed by its perfect state of preservation!
You'll also see the Theatre, the space destined for lyrical, dramatic and musical performances. Be sure not to miss the beautiful panoramic views from the upper-tiered seating area. You'll also walk through the ruins of the stadium, the Temple of Athena Pronea, the Castalian Spring and other treasures.
With this ticket, you'll also have access to the Archaeological Museum of Delphi, whose collection contains some of the most important works of ancient Greek art, spanning the period from the 2nd millennium BC to Late Antiquity, when a Christian community was established in Delphi.
Opening Hours
The archaeological site of Delphi is open at the following times:
- April 1st to August 31st: 8 am to 8 pm, with final admission at 7:30 pm
- September 1st to 15th: 8 am to 7:30 pm, with final admission at 7 pm
- September 16th to 30th: 8 am to 7 pm, with final admission at 6:30 pm
- October 1st to 15th: 8 am to 6:30 pm, with final admission at 6 pm
- October 16th to 31st: 8 am to 6 pm, with final admission at 5:30 pm
The Archaeological Museum of Delphi is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm, with final admission at 4:30 pm.
Skip-the-Line Tickets
This ticket is valid for ages and allows you to avoid the long queues at the ticket office. Nevertheless, the following people can access the temple for free by showing their accreditation document on-site at the ticket counters:
- Over 25s in secondary education and vocational training from EU Member States and European Economic Area countries
- From 1 April 2025, EU citizens under 25 and non-EU citizens under 18 will be able to enter free of charge on presentation of their ID at the ticket office.
Important Info
- The travel date and/or entry time slot cannot be changed for any reason.
- This offer only includes normal admission at adult price and can be used by people of all ages to enter at full price.
- For those over 65, a 50% discount will be granted. This discount will only be applied at the ticket office or on the website.
- As the monument operates in time slots, there is no guarantee that free tickets will be available at the ticket office for the time slot of your choice.
- Entry is only permitted during the selected time slot or 15 minutes before or after.
- People with disabilities can enter free of charge on presentation of their disability certificate at the ticket office.
