Golden Triangle 7-Day Tour

  • 4 reviews | 26 travellers
Fantastic tour! Excellent organization. Once I arrived in Agra, I pointed out to the guide (Prince) that we had not visited the Qutb Minar in Delhi due to a misunderstanding with the previous guide. He promptly resolved the problem and took me to visit it before taking the return flight. Thanks also to the driver (Gurdman) who was always available to accommodate us on some of our requests (shopping, visiting unscheduled sites). A 10 and honors to both of them

Golden Triangle 7-Day Tour

Day 1: Delhi

You'll be met from your flight at Delhi airport, before being taken to your hotel in the city to rest and relax for the following day.

Day 2: Delhi

After we've filled up with a lovely breakfast, we'll start our Golden Triangle tour by visiting the largest mosque in India, and one of Delhi's most beautiful religious sites: Jama Masjid, or the Friday Mosque. We'll admire its façade before heading on to the memorial built for Mahatma Gandhi at Raj Ghat. We'll enjoy a panoramic view of the government buildings along the Raj Path and the imposing India Gate.

In the afternoon, we'll visit the Sikh Temple and Birla Temple before visiting the Qutub Minar. At a height of 240 feet (70 metres), it's the tallest brick minaret in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Having explored the best of Delhi's historical and cultural sights, enjoy a delicious meal back at the hotel and an evening at your leisure.

Day 3: Delhi – Jaipur

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we'll make our way to Jaipur, known as the 'Pink City' - home to the intricately carved façade of the magnificent Hawa Mahal, also known as Palace of the Winds, one of the city's most important monuments. En route, we'll stop in Shahpura for some lunch!

In the afternoon we'll stop to take some photos at the Albert Hall Museum, housed in a stunning Indo-Saracenic style building, and the equally beautiful Birla Mandir, where we'll enjoy a traditional Aarti ceremony! At the end of the day, we'll return to the hotel to enjoy dinner and rest up for the next day.

Day 4: Jaipur – Amber – Jaipur

After we've had some breakfast, we'll visit the city of Amber, where we'll be able to enjoy spectacular views from the road as we drive up to the fortified palace in the Jeep and enjoy its beautiful paintings and marble filigree.

Day 5: Jaipur – Abhaneri – Fathepur Sikri – Agra

On our fifth day, we'll grab some breakfast before continuing our journey toward Agra, a city which alternated with Delhi as the capital of the Mughal Empire. We'll visit such locations as the Mehtab Bagh Garden, on the opposite bank to the Yamuna River to see the iconic Taj Mahal - an excellent opportunity to take some photos! We'll conclude the evening with a delicious dinner before we go back to the hotel to recharge.

Day 6: Agra

Today, after breakfast, you'll get to visit the inside of the captivating Taj Mahal, one of the most famous architectural structures in the world! You'll be blown away by its beauty!

After, we'll make our way to the Agra Fort, located on the banks of the Yamuna River in the heart of the city. This structure reflects distinct periods of Indian architecture under three Mughal emperors: Akbar, Jehangir and Shan Jahan.

At the end of the day, we'll have our dinner back at the hotel and a well-deserved rest!

Day 7: Delhi
