If the city of Delhi is enchanting under the sun, this night tour will show you its beauty in the moonlight. The route takes you around the illuminated monuments and immerses you in the city’s vibrant nightlife.
Itinerary
We meet at 7 pm at the main entrance to one of the most important buildings in Delhi - the Bangla Sahib Gurudwara. This is the principle Sikh temple in the city, with its unmistakable golden dome that shines brightest under the night sky. Did you know this originally began life as palace?
We continue to the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, which occupies a surface area of 14 hectares, and to other iconic monuments such as the Election Commission building, the Sardar Patel Bhawan government offices, and the façade of the National Philatelic Museum.
We will also walk along Sansad Marg, one of the main streets in the Indian capital. Many of Delhi's other iconic monuments are spread along this avenue, which is a beautiful sight lit up at night.
The night tour through Delhi ends at the Central Secretariat building, headquarters of the main government ministries.
