Delhi Layover Tour
When booking, you can choose between a tour with two different durations, 5 or 8 hours. The starting time varies according to the arrival of your flight.
5 hour Tour
We'll pick you up at the airport and start our tour around Delhi's main sights. We'll see these tourist attractions from the outside and make some stops to take pictures.
During the tour, you'll see the Minaret Qutab, a Muslim building from the thirteenth century named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The car will also take us past the Lotus Temple, India Gate, Delhi's Presidential Palace and the famous Raj Ghat memorial, where Gandhi was cremated, as well as the Tomb of Humayun. After the scenic tour of Delhi, we'll take you back to the airport in time for your next flight.
8 hour Tour
Do you have more time to see Delhi? Then the 8-hour tour is your best option. After picking you up at the airport, we'll visit the same sights as the 5 hour tour. We'll also see the Jama Masjid Mosque, the outside of Delhi's Red Fort and the Chandni Chowk Bazaar, one of Delhi's oldest markets. You'll also have the chance to ride in a rickshaw, a traditional vehicle similar to the tuk tuk. The tour will end taking you back to the airport terminal to catch your flight.
Important: Layover times
The round trip time between Delhi Airport and the city centre is 90 minutes and you should be at the airport two hours before the flight departure. For example, for the 5 hour tour, it is recommended that you have at least 8 hours of stopover time.
