Fall in love with the exotic beauty of India. Discover the incredible sights of Delhi, Jaipur and Agra on this four-day tour of the Golden Triangle. An unmissable experience!

Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi

When you arrive at Delhi international airport, we'll be waiting for you at arrivals. From there, we'll take you to your hotel, where we will give you all the paperwork necessary for your Golden Triangle tour. You'll spend the night in Delhi.

Day 2: Delhi-Jaipur

After breakfast in your hotel in Delhi, you'll begin your journey. You'll head to Jaipur by car, where, after checking into your hotel, you'll spend the afternoon exploring the beautiful streets and crazy colourful bazaars of the so-called 'Pink City' of India. Why not try haggling for some bargains?

You'll visit the Birla Temple (Birla Mandir), where you'll learn all about religious life in Jaipur. Admire its impressive white marble architecture and statues, amongst which a sculpture of Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and beauty, particularly stands out. In the evening, you'll enjoy a delicious meal with an Indian family, before heading back to your Jaipur hotel for the night.

Day 3: Jaipur-Agra

The Rajasthani capital is famous as the location of the resplendent palaces and legendary fortresses of the great Maharajas, and you'll see why today. After an early start, you'll first visit the Amber Fort, just outside of Jaipur. This magnificent palace complex was built by Man Singh I in 1592 in Mughal and Hindu styles. To top off this unforgettable experience, you'll reach the fort itself on the back of an elephant!

Your next stop on this monumental tour will be the City Palace, which includes the Chandra Mahal and the Mubarak Mahal. This complex of palaces is a perfect fusion of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architectural styles.

Next, you'll head to Jantar Mantar, the home of the world's largest stone sundial, and the best-preserved observatory of those constructed thanks to Maharaja Jai Singh's passion for astronomy. Last but not least, you'll explore the Hawa Mahal, or the Palace of Winds, known for its intricate façade. Did you know that the building was constructed for the women of the palace to be able to observe what went on in the grounds without being seen?

You'll finish your day enjoying some free time in Agra, where you'll spend the night.

Day 4: Agra-Delhi

In the morning, you'll head out early again to visit one of India's most famous monuments, the Taj Mahal. Discover the romantic story behind its existence: a mausoleum built by Emperor Sha Jahan as a demonstration of his love for his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Today, both of them are buried side by side within this magical place, which is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

Finally, you'll travel back to Delhi to be dropped back off at the airport, where your tour will end.
