South Holland is one of the most beautiful provinces in the Netherlands.  Let yourself be charmed by this private day trip from Delft, where you'll also get to visit either The Hague or Rotterdam.

Private Day Trip Options

During the booking process, you'll be able to choose one of the following options. Both private day trips are 4.5 hours long and include an English-speaking guide as well as tram tickets to one of the cities.

Private Day Trip of The Hague from Delft

Firstly, we'll go on a private tour of Delft where we'll walk around this beautiful city's historical centre—one of the prettiest in the province of South Holland. This guided tour will begin at the Prinsenhof tram station.

We'll walk along Delft's canals until we reach Markt Square, where we'll see the City Hall's facade, which dates back to the 17th century, and the Nieuwe Kerk Church, known for its Gothic bell tower. We'll continue our tour of Delft passing by other emblematic points in the city, such as the Prinsenhof Museum, the Oude Kerk Church, and the Vermeer Centrum, dedicated to the painter of 'The Girl with a Pearl Earring'.

After visiting Delft, we'll make our way to the station to hop on a tram to The Hague. Once we've reached this city, we'll begin our private tour.

We'll walk around the main landmarks in the historical centre, whose focal point is undoubtedly the Hofvijver. Circling this lake, we'll see the Binnenhof (the Dutch Parliament) and Mauritshuis, the museum that houses 'The Girl With a Pearl Earring' painting.

After discovering other iconic spots in The Hague's historical centre, we'll return to the station to take the tram back to Delft.

Private Day Trip of Rotterdam from Delft

If you pick this option, we'll meet at Delft's central station, where we'll take a tram to Rotterdam.

Once we reach this avant-garde locality in the south of the Netherlands, we'll begin a private tour of Rotterdam, On this walking tour, we'll learn about the city's history, which after World War II bombings, was completely rebuilt with modern skyscrapers.

We'll then pass by the Stadhuis, the City Hall, and Rotterdam's port. Did you know that it's one of the most important ports in Europe? Afterwards, we'll head over to Markthal, an impressive hall with restaurants and food stalls of all kinds.

Our tour of Rottendam will culminate with a visit to the Cube Houses. These are modern residences whose unique architecture is sure to impress you.

After getting to know how they were constructed, we'll take the tram back to Delft, where we'll have the same private guided tour of the city described in the previous option.
