Damajagua Waterfalls Hiking Tour
At the appointed time, we'll meet at the Río Damajagua Visitor Center, where our hike through the famous waterfalls of Damajagua will begin. Who's ready for an adventure!
We'll begin with an uphill hike through the hills of the Cordillera Septentrional, which will last approximately 40 minutes. This stretch will take us to one of the impressive waterfalls known as the Charcos de Damajagua. Next, we walk another 30 minutes to the highest part of the hill, which will surprise us with fabulous views of these 27 waterfalls. You won't be able to stop taking pictures!
After enjoying the beauty of these falls from above, we'll begin a descent following the course of the Damajagua River and take a break at its natural pools so you can cool off and go for a swim. Having had some fun in this hidden paradise of the Dominican jungle, we'll walk to the base camp where we'll refuel with a buffet lunch with Dominican dishes such as grilled chicken and pork, stews, rice, pasta and salads.
Following lunch, the experience will end at the starting point.
